Students from Penn State Scranton’s medieval literature class recently traveled to The Cloisters, a museum dedicated to the art and architecture of the Middle Ages, for an immersive learning experience that helped connect the class’ studies with real-world experiences through art and history.

Penn State Scranton has announced the establishment of the Lambda Omicron Chapter of Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) Honor Society, a national organization dedicated to recognizing the achievements of first-generation college students.

These activities are just a few of the many experiential learning and professional development opportunities that Penn State students gained through internships this summer. 

Penn State Scranton has announced the students named to its spring 2024 dean's list. To be eligible, full-time undergraduate students must achieve a one-semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.

Thirteen biology students and one biology program alumnus were recently inducted into Penn State Scranton’s newest national honor society, Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta), Rho Beta Rho Chapter.

Seven Penn State Scranton students devoted 1,300 total hours to supporting the VITA program this year, with two of them returning from participating in the program last year to serve in supervisory roles, aiding in training their peers and reviewing tax returns.

This spring Penn State Scranton's Beta Sigma Delta honor society inducted three new outstanding students to its ranks.

Penn State Scranton's Business Club arranged a tour of Benco Dental in Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania, this spring. Guided by Penn State Scranton Lecturer of Business Kevin Feifer, the excursion gave the group invaluable insights into the inner workings of one of the nation's leading dental distributors.
